What is the role of the US government in regard to each of the ideas set forth in the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States?
I know what the role of the US government is. I learned that last year, but now i have to write 3 to 5 pages about this topic and i don’t know what to write in 5 pages.

“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common Defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
So, we have establishing Justice — law enforcement and courts.
Providing for common Defense — law enforcement and military.
Promoting the general Welfare — welfare, social programs, etc.
Those are easy.
The trick is balancing domestic Tranquility (conformity, morality, personal security) with the blessings of Liberty (freedom, no censorship, allowing diversity).
As for structure, start with each of the five, define it and what it means, then explore what branches or agencies of the government are involved, what laws they make or enforce, and how those actions may impact any of the other four of the five.
