Me and my fiancee are celebrating our four year anniversary this weekend and, due to recent college expenses, we are both broke. I really want to make the weekend special, but due to my lack of money, I am at a loss. He is not much into the artsy fartsy kind of gifts, and he is a total computer nerd, so my usual framed photos and paintings are out of the question.

PLEASE HELP!

Why don’t you try a digital picture frame instead—-since you said he’s a computer nerd, its one more gadgety type gift.

Get a credit card and buy him a nice watch, then make payments

The best gifts are “experiences”. You don’t need money to take someone somewhere to see something beautiful or interesting, or to have a special sex night, or to cook a special meal, or to give a massage with a nice note. Make a CD with songs that you both love. Have a “movie marathon” of his favorite kind of movies or ones you both love. I tell people to give me “activity gifts”. There are free days at museums, follow it with a picnic. So many choices in the summer.

I say ask him to marry you…that’s what I plan to do this year since it will be our last anniversary not married! I haven’t figured out the details, but I love the idea!

But, I asked my fiance (he’s in the room with me) and he said the steak and blow job sounded perfect to him! That’s a guy for ya… 🙂
