L: What should I get my husband for our one year wedding anniversary?
My husband and I have been married for one yr. He has planned an entire weekend getaway which is coming up. It is a total surprise I don’t have a clue what he has planned which is so romantic BUT I am at a loss for what to get him… I want to contribute to our getaway too! My husband is 23 so nothing to old. I want something that is sentimental yet something that doesn’t seem feminine! HELP!

As a guy, I’d have to say you can’t go wrong with anything over the top between the sheets. Has to be better than the routine. Find a unique way to please him. Last thing most of us want is more stuff (unless it’s tools – but those are useful as opposed to just taking up space).

@L; I am 23 years old, male too and I envy your husband for being able to settle down with a family at such a young age, and from what you say about his plans for your anniversary, he sounds like he cherishes you much.

maybe cook him something he likes and just show it to him that you appreciate his love. That would do it for me, but people are different, obviously. Wish you happiness in your marriage.
