: Who is the father of the first king of Kvenland and Finland Fornjotor?
I found that my direct genealogy line goes back to the kings of Kvenland and Finland. The farthest back is listed on many websites including Wikipedia, and that is Fornjotor, born in 160. Who would be his father? Why is there no sources listing it?

Answer by Fiq Faysee
I pulled open a drawer at my country estate in Upsala to answer this question and discovered a document proving that his father was Fiq Faysee The Wise. I will post this letter on the net and you can take it from there.
A difficult question dear boy. I shall have a lucky guess and say His father’s name was Irving. Or Fiq. I imagine there are no references because, like everything, there comes a point where records of any kind simply no longer exist.

The two sources for Fornjotur, the Orkney saga and “Hversum Noregr Bygdist”, do not say anything about Fornjotur’s father.
