U.S.A. girl: FASHION?????????????????????
I just don’t see why it matter that much.
I like to look nice and get something cute but not designer stuff. We kill animals to look good. We spend 300 dollars on a pair of jeans when you can get perfectly good ones for 60 and have 240 left over. 240 is breakfast, lunch and dinner if you use it right. You could save lives with that 240! INSTEAD you use it for a pair of jeans. So why does it matter if you look good or not. People will think your pretty? So people will be attracted. If someone loves you its the inside that counts. I really don’t get it. But since about 99.9 percent of people think its more important than saving a life, it must be important. Can someone explain why?

I agree, but it’s all a matter of being “cool” and “in” these days. You can still get really cute clothes for a cheaper price at other stores. You don’t necessarily have to buy $ 200 boots when you get ones that look exactly the same for less. I guess people just spend more because they think it will draw more attention.
Because the world we live in is full of shallow people who could care less about anything other than what so-and-so was wearing on the cover of whichever magazine. It’s sickening. People need to start having a mind of their ownAnswer by Nerd.
i wish i could explain it….Answer by -misspopularity
honestly i love fashion i think its a good way to express myself. I was raised to not waste money on stupid things so ive always tried to look good without spending TOO much money I mean i think 60 dollars can still be a little expensive i have gorgeous skinny jeans for like 35 bucks.
Anyways it is important to me cause i want to look good and project confidence but the way i do it its a matter of getting dresses. ( practically the only designer stuff i have are my fave ed hardy shoes which were 150 bucks but i spent like 4 years trying to get enough money for them so i treated myself)Answer by Gabrielle Nicole
I see your point, some people are like that. But not all people. I have never spent $ 300 dollars on jeans. I dont even spend $ 40. And I dont own a single animal fur. I only spend what I feel I need in my closet.Answer by peace&♥
well people who spend 600 dollars are the kind of people that have money they don’t know what to go with. so it really depends on what your style and money situation is…Answer by *Peace.Love.Jonas*
And you rant on and on because…?
reality check, you compaining about the way people spend thier money isn’t going to change someone. if you have the money to buy a $ 300 pair of jeans, then your going to buy them. some random person ranting on the internet isn’t going to change that.
sorry to be harsh, but i’m sure there are many people that agree with me, however they’ll agree with you to get 10 points.

Answer by Natalie (:there spoiled && want to have the best even though its just the same but like 200 cheaper. nd it has to be designer so people wont think of them as everyone elsee and cheap and they have to feel like they are better than everyone else and for people to pay more attention to them && to brag. thats what i think but its stupid cause i look cute most days wearing forever21 and wetseal and stores like that (:Answer by b.b
we wear fashionable clothes to not look like peasants that’s whyAnswer by Dayuniyor
We can argue the whole day about the virtue or the folly of why people spent their money unwisely or with frugality – but one thing’s for sure: every person should respect another person’s right to do with their hard-earned money. We can give our best suggestions and then just live with, period (not expecting anything in return whether it will be taken or not)! I remember in one movie I saw, the mother said, “If you want to flush your life down the toilet, who am I to stop you?”
