Rebecca L: Where is a good family vacation spot in Florida?
I want to take my family to Florida for Christmas next year. I’m trying to get a head start on planning but don’t know which beaches are the nicest/warmest for that time of year. Any ideas of hotels/resorts also??? I am more interested in areas with family activities than bars/clubs. I’ve been searching the web but there are so many choices, I’m interested in ideas from either people who live there or have been there themselves.

Weeki Wachee has live mermaid shows! No joke! Your kids will FREAK.
It’s also close to Tampa/St. Pete.

go to BookMe. You can compare prices on all the major travel sites from one location. It’s the only way you can guarantee the best deals for the best hotels for your money online.Answer by Micah
My family and I spent some time in Marco Island. I was 18 the time, with younger siblings. We stayed at the Raddison and had so much fun! It was a great place to spend time together and family oriented and relaxing. Good luck!
