Chao: Is English very important for working holiday in Australia?
I want to apply for working holiday in Australia after graduating from college,but my English skill isn’t
so good now.Is working holiday a dream for me?No good English skill,no working holiday in other countries?

If you plan only to work in fruit picking – English is no problem but if you plan to work in the city then you are only likely to get a job in a cafe where English speaking and understanding is critical.

In my experience, it isnt essential. Especially if you are asian (chinese, japanese, vietnamese) because you can go into a shop or restaurant run by someone of the same ethnicity and they are more likely to hire you than a white person. You can give it a go, but poor english skills will make it hard. Its possible, but very very difficult.
