mande: What exactly is an “emerging market”?
I always hear this, but what does it mean, and where do I find specifically who they are? (what stocks, are they grouped somewhere I can study them?)

Emerging markets are countries that are having a lot more business activity than before. They are rapidly growing. Popular emerging markets include countries like Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC). There are other emerging markets like Angola, some eastern European Countries, the Middle East, and others. A list of emerging markets is found in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerging_market.

Way to go Wes. These are areas I have $ in. These areas have been booming since 2000 and are expected to continue for many years to come.
They have great returns. Especially ING Russia, Over 300% per year for several years. I missed that one. Drats!
