s l: What is the easiest gambling table game to learn?
I’m going to Las Vegas for my birthday trip soon and I like to know what is the easiest gambling table game to learn because I lost close to $ 1,000 in Las Vegas last year on my birthday trip.

Blackjack is very easy to learn. Caribbean Stud and 3-Card Poker isn’t difficult either.
However, the strategies will take more effort to learn if you ever want to go from “fun” to “optimal” play.
Answer by Brandirroulette is easy to learn but blackjack has the smaller ‘house edge’Answer by Myth_Understood
In terms of simplicity, I think it’s blackjack. Not only that, but blackjack has the second worst house advantage (second only to baccarat), which means that the house loses more to blackjack than any other game except baccarat.
In essence, blackjack is pretty simple: Go over 21, and you’re toast.
Having said that, there are some concepts that make blackjack more exciting and a little more complicated than the ‘go over 21 and you’re toast’ rule. These concepts happen when you get a pair dealt to you, or when you have a hand wherein you can increase your bet AFTER receiving your cards.
When you get a pair, there are times when you should do what we call ‘split’, which is to say that … ok, if you get a pair of 4’s, you add the 4’s together and it’s a total of , which is a crappy hand most of the time and you have to hit. If you get a 5/3 or a 6/2, it’s definitely a hit. HOWEVER, if you were to split the 4’s, and place a bet on each 4 separately, you will then be able to double your money. because when you split, the dealer gives each 4 a card with which to build the new hand, and then you hit or stand based on what the new cards give you, AND based on what the dealer’s card is showing. Whether to hit or stand, split or double is ALWAYS based on what the dealers card is.
I know that this sounds complicated, but if you would find out when and if your casino offers blackjack tutoring, you should absolutely take advantage of it. For me to explain it is fine and good, but it’s much easier to process and absorb first hand, at a table, with a dealer there who will help you understand the subtleties and how best to win. You should be able to pick up all of this within 5 or 10 minutes of ‘one-hand-after-another’ instruction at the blackjack tutor table, easy.
Most importantly, I HIGHLY recommend that you make one small purchase: It’s a small card, about the size of a credit card, that has information on it. You are allowed to bring this little card to the table with you, and on this little card, it has the ‘instructions’ for when to hit, when to stand, when to split, and when to double. This card is invaluable, and do not think of it as a crutch. Think of it as a very important tool, with which you will increase your odds of winning. It is sold in most hotel gift shops, right there at the cash register. I have one in my handbag as we speak, and I’ve won more hands by following what it says to do even if it seems like the wrong thing.
Also … a final thought is this: I’ve had more fun at a blackjack table than any other game in Vegas. When you find a table with a good crowd of people, and a dealer that likes what they do (instead of it being just a job), you can’t go wrong. I’ve sat at the same table for 2 or 3 hours, been up and down by hundreds of dollars, but why get up when I’m having such a great time? Free drinks and a fun group … you can’t beat it.
Have a great time!!

You are putting 2 concepts together that don’t belong.
You are asking about the “easiest gambling table”, but at the same time, you’re telling us the reason is because you lost $ 1,000.
What does finding the “easiest gambling table” have to do with you losing $ 1,000? Answer – Absolutely nothing.
If you find the “easiest” table, it’s likely not going to be the game with the best odds.
Frankly I can’t believe anyone is suggesting Blackjack as the easiest! It’s a very easy game to learn, but to know Basic Strategy like the back of your hand takes a lot of experience and practice. You can always use a little “cheat card” while you play, but even then it takes a bit of learning to understand what the cheat card symbols and directions all mean. (By the way, those “cheat cards” aren’t cheating. They’re perfectly legal.)
If you’re looking for the “easiest”, there’s no 2 ways about it – ROULETTE is your game. You can’t make any mistakes playing roulette. If you’re lucky, you’re lucky. If you’re not, you’re not. Bottom line is the more you bet in roulette, the more you can potentially win, and the more you can potentially lose. So if you start betting big, you could lose your shirt very quickly. You could also get very lucky, but you’re more likely to lose your shirt.
If you stick with minimum bets, roulette is a fun game and you won’t lose a lot. You WILL lose more likely than you’ll win, but that’s true of ALL gambling games!!! If you ever fool yourself into thinking otherwise, you are a fool who will soon be parted with their money.
One last comment – If you lost $ 1,000 on your birthday trip, perhaps you went a bit crazy with your playing. Just remember that gambling is a form of ENTERTAINMENT. Ask yourself this – “How much do I want to spend entertaining myself at a casino?” If the answer is just a couple hundred, then that’s what you should allow yourself at the casino! If this trip is really worth another $ 1,000, then go for it and have lots of fun. If that’s way too much for you, then just plan on limiting yourself to a smaller set amount. WHEN THAT AMOUNT IS GONE, YOU DON’T GAMBLE ANY MORE! Simple as that.
Answer by BarryEasiest gambling table game is Blackjack, roulette, try to learn, it’s so interesting gameAnswer by Ranger4402
IMHO the easiest gambling table game to learn is a tie between betting Pass or Don’t Pass in craps and playing roulette and picking a single number or going red/black or odd/even. THe tie breaker is house edge so craps wins over roulette. The house edge in craps is far lower than roulette.
Blackjack is somewhat easy and the house edge is decent. But it takes time to learn basic strategy. With roulette and craps it takes very little time because there is no strategy to roulette. Everything that happens in those games is quickly forgotten mathematically. In blackjack that is never the case. In craps and roulette the past spin of the wheel or roll of the dice as no bearing on what will happen on the next spin or roll.
In black jack, the cards already dealt impact the cards to come. When all the aces are dealt, no more aces are to come so no more blackjacks will come too.
Answer by Vegas MattEasiest game to learn? Well, let’s see:
1.) Casino War – Yes, it’s a real game. Make a bet. High card wins. That’s it. No decisions, you just bet.
2.) Baccarat – The rules for drawing cards are fairly complicated, but nothing is complicated from the player’s side. All you do is bet on the player, the banker, or a tie (which you should never bet on). Then you sit there and wait for the dealer to pay you or take your money. You basically do nothing.
3.) Roulette – Make a bet. Wait for the ball to drop. If one of your numbers comes up, you win. If not, you lose. I put this below the other two because there are a lot more bets you can make, but the game itself is incredibly simple.
4.) Craps: Pass line or don’t pass line – If you’re looking for a simple bet WHICH ALSO HAPPENS TO BE THE BEST BET IN THE CASINO, this is it. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you to play blackjack or Baccarat or anything else. They have no idea what they’re talking about. The pass line or don’t pass line with odds is the BEST bet in the casino, hands down.
Anyway, this bet is slightly more complicated than the other three, but only because a monkey could play any of those other games. Here’s how it works: Make a bet on the pass line. If a 7 or 11 comes up, you win. If a 2, 3, or 12 comes up, you lose. If a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 comes up, it becomes the point. You goal is now to roll the point number again before a 7 is rolled.
Once the point is established, you can back up your bet with an “odds” bet. This is the best bet is the casino. It has NO HOUSE EDGE. ALWAYS take this bet. The more you bet on the odds, the lower the total house edge goes (when combined with the pass line bet). A player with a large budget in a casino with friendly rules can virtually wipe out the house edge, but even double odds makes the total bet better than any other table game in the casino.
FYI, the Don’t Pass bet is basically the inverse of the Pass Line. On the come out, you win on the 2 or 3, and lose on a 7 or 11. After the point is established, you are rooting for a 7 to come before the point number. You can still place odds bets, and they’re still the best bet in the casino, the payouts are just the inverse of the pass line payouts. This bettor actually has a very slightly lower house edge than the pass line, but most people don’t like it because they feel they’re betting “against” the shooter. I play it all the time though.
Anyway, hope this helps. And you really should ignore any post that does not tell you the same thing. They don’t know what they’re talking about. Blackjack is NOT simple to play correctly. Nor are most of the other table games (i.e., 3 Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, Let it Ride, Pai Gow Poker, etc). There are decisions to make at most of these games, and if you don’t play correctly, you increase the house edge. You can’t screw up any of the bets I listed.
