: What is the easiest type of dancing to start?
I’m 18 and want to start dancing. But most people I’ve spoken to start dancing when they are really young. So I don’t want to start a class where I’m the oldest there by years. Any suggestions?
I like all types of dancing!

Answer by EmilyMmm.. it really depends on what your interested in. Maybe try jazz??Answer by Artemis
Adult tap classes are fun, active, and easy to start.
Ballet is an option, but it is slow. It isn’t exactly difficult at a beginner level, but it can be sort of boring because it is all technique.
Zumba could be fun if you want a workout, too.
Bellydancing is another fun class that’s easy for beginners to pick up at a recreational level.Answer by Chance1660
Tap Dancing Or The Wobble Is The Easiest Types Of Dancing.Answer by AngelinaRose
Ok first it always starts with what you feel most comfortable doing. I would try Jazz or Ballet first but make sure that your on the right level. If you feel the class is too hard then step up and don’t worry about asking questions. Good Luck:)Answer by Michael
Well it does, as many people have said ahead of me, depend on what you are interested in. If you are more interested in the beauty/grace aspect of dance, I would recommend finding a beginner adult Ballet class. These kinds of classes are fairly easy to find. If you just want to start moving in a way that is to music but is not extremely technically challenging, I would recommend taking Hip Hop. This is the way that a lot of dancers, myself included, started dancing. You won’t have to buy special clothing (like a leotard and ballet shoes) so it should be more affordable, and it is really easy to find adult Hip Hop classes as well. If you are in college/university and your school has a dance program, I would recommend checking that out as well to see what kind of classes they offer and try to fit a dance class into your schedule next semester. You’ll be with a group of people who should all be at your skill level and everyone will be your age or older. I wish you the best of luck! have fun! 🙂Answer by Dancer!
Well ballet isn’t exactly the easiest, but it’s the core of all dance, so sometimes that would be best to start with. Adult tap classes are good to though:) Or really any adult or teen beginner dance classes:)
Good luck!
Answer by lizardmommaHonestly, don’t let the age thing hold you back. I’m 33 and I dance with girls as young as 13 and no one is bothered by it (that makes me old enough to be their mom). If you want to have good technique then I would start with ballet, if you want to have fun and still learn some technique go with jazz.Answer by India
praise dance because it comes naturally you can do anything you want it just requires alot of passion
