One that loves you, respects you and is well trained! Also one that is spayed/neutered and fits your activity level.

I prefer pit bulls and German Shepherds, but they are not for everyone.

u will have to deside that, research, your way of life, what you have time for, your amount of energy. cost of vet appointments depending on the type of dog you would like. It really depends on how you live on what type of dog you should have. check it out on the internet.

I have had a Boxer they are great gaurddogs but they love children and their owners. A german Shepard are also great to have and both are very loyal.
Hope that helps! Oh also if you don’t want to spend a lot of money do not get a small dog. You pay over 15,000 dollars almost every 5 years on a small dog. And those dogs live to be very old.

If you go to your local shelter, they can set you up with a dog that they know will fit your lifestyle with it’s personality.

It depends on why you want a dog. If it’s for protection I would do for a doberman (very light shedder) or a german sheperd. Both are very sweet and very loyal and they look scary. We have a doberman and she is a great dog.
If you want a dog to take places and cuddle with then I would say a toy poodle. Poodle’s are hypoallergenic dogs. They don’t shed. We have a doberman and a toy poodle and they are great. They love playing together. When you go to pick out a dog, bring 2 pots to bang together or something that you can make a loud noise with and you want to get a puppy that is curious about the noise, not scared

Any dog that you want. I don’t know what your lifestyle is so I can’t even begin to recommend a breed or a mix that you might like. All dogs are good if they have good owners.

Labrador, border collie, jack russel. they are clever obidiant, easy to train, loving, caring, loyal and so cute, these are the only three breeds i would ever have.

There are no better breeds.
There are breeds that are more suited for a certain lifestyle.

If you are at work a lot, a Siberian Husky isn’t the dog for you.
If you live in a small apartment or smaller home, a Newfoundland isn’t for you.
If you love exercise, a Siberian Husky may be the dog for you.
If you have a larger home with many acres, a Newfoundland may be the dog for you.

In general, many people get dogs for the wrong reasons (mainly looks) and end up with a little monster, or something they can’t handle.

My personal breed favorites are the Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Toy Poodle, and Alaskan Klee Kai (unrecognized).

It depends on your lifestyle and whether you have a family with children. If you have a large yard with children, a labrador retriever or golden retriever is a great pet. If you live in an apartment with no children then a toy breed would be best, say a pomeranian or King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. I would suggest going to the AKC website and read up about the different breeds and make a responsible choice when picking a pet.
