Not until she is housebroken. What is wrong with her sleeping in her crate?
No. make sure she is house broken first. Did she have the runs? Or did she simply think your bed was the crapper?Answer by Corrine
The exact reason dogs shouldn’t sleep in the bed…get your dog her own comfy bed (you can get decent one at Target for $ 20 or less) and make her sleep there!Answer by Love a Poodle not a Cavoodle
Don’t swap between crate and bed all the time, that’s not fair on the puppy and it’s only going to confuse her.
Just stick with the crate for now.
If you want her to sleep on the bed with you leave it a few months until she is completely toilet trained and able to hold it in all night.
if your going to give her another chance you should also maybe go for a walk before bed so she can poop thenAnswer by Sandra H
if it’s a puppy you have to show that what’ve happened is not right.. if it’s grown up dog.. I wouldn’t let him sleep in my bad no more…’cause he will do it again…Answer by My Wicked Mind (Ephirist)
If your dog pooped in your bed, why are you letting it back in your bed? HOUSEBREAK it! You MUST MUST MUST housebreak your animal, if you dont it is considered irresponsible.
You might feel bad for the little guy. You might think he’s saying, “please, please let me back in your bed! I am so cold and lonely!” but that is not the case. Your dog needs food, water and shelter. Everything else you give him–love, toys, treats–is not something he needs to survive. Sleeping on a bed is not natural to a dog. I’m not saying kick him off–our dogs sleep on the bed–but I am saying before you do anything, please housebreak it, for the good of you AND your bud.
