Boober: Doesn’t the bickering between left and right boil down to taxation and representation?
Our original independence was based on taxation without representation. These days it appears that the opposite is occurring, as in no-taxation, but with representation (for a growing body of people). Wouldn’t a solution be to reserve the right to vote for taxpayers only? After all, we are voting for representatives whose jobs are to handle our tax dollars.

I think it boils down to politicians taking money from the productive to give to the non productive in order to gain political power.
