: Does university math and science start out with review of the basics?
Will university math and science be doable without taking any AP, IB or any other advanced courses. They’re not offered at my school.

As long as you take a low-leveled introduction course, then yes. The only AP class I ever took was English, and I had no problem with my science and math courses. They start from the beginning, as long as you know basic math (addition, multiplication etc) and the scientific method, you’ll be fine. Besides, AP classes are meant to replace the introduction courses in college if you pass the exam, they’re not required in order to take college level classes.
You’ll most likely have to take a math placement test to determine what level you need to start at. They won’t put you in a class that’s beyond your abilities. Science classes should start out with the very basics, but might require you to have a working understanding of algebra.
