One of the best American universities for opera is Indiana University. They have about the best program around. Other great schools are Juilliard and Eastman (University of Rochester.) Any of these would be really brilliant!

One serious advantage of Juilliard is that it’s right there in Lincoln Center, NYC, next to the Metropolitan Opera. HUGE bonus. Good luck!
