Does judaism promote kindness to man the same way christianity does?

Basically most of the christians I know are very kind and generous, people. Does judaism teach the same kind of things as christianity or does it differ?

It promotes kindness even more-so than Christianity. Most Jews aren’t homophobic and they don’t threaten non-Jews with hell. If I’m not mistaken, aren’t they not allowed to convert people? Jews are more rational than Christians in my experience. Even THEY don’t think that everything in the Torah (old testament) literally happened, but Christians do.
