Raman: Does College pay off when your heading out to become a Parole Officer?
Im planning on getting my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and later on shoot out to become a parole officer working in prisons. People say that when you go to college your pay raises, is that true with becoming a Parole Officer? Im hoping to start out my pay with 60k as a parole officer after college. Please I would be very greatful for an answer. Thanks!

Absolutely. there is a LOT of report writing . Good English skills are essentia.
You don’t become a Porole Officer in a jail.
You have an office in the Probation/parole Centre for the city.There might be 25 Officers there.
Clients come to see you. Occasionally you see someone at the jail.

60 k start not impossible but also consider the economy is tied to the cost of living which is ted to a salary you make.
Average in south is 27,000 a year but cheaper to live in the south, still in the 70′ each day and will be during christmas compared to Washington and cold.
