Skye: Does anyone else find the phrase “make love” uncomfortable?
gahhh I hate the term “make love” it’s so… QUEER!! is the word I use to describe it and no i am not homophobic but I can’t think of a better world to express my feelings on the subject. I get like this gaggy feeling in the back of my throat when people use it BUT I also laugh at the person who uses it… Like It’s sex ya dont need that stupid corny term! I can handle “being intimate” but other than that NO! Does anyone else feel this way?? haha or am I gonna find out and have someone say “Oh you are just being insecure anyone who is insecure thinks that” or something? gimme a break… maybe I am too immature still I dont know. Just for the record I am not a slut either I completely and totally care about being passionate for someone and being romantic… I am the type of chick who wishes life was as romantic as the movies it’s just that one term that seems to get on my nerves.. can you relate?
ahahahaha you people are funny!! No I dont prefer the work F*CK! which is what you mean and dont be afraid to say it i just think Make love is a stupid saying. you can say crap like a passionate moment, or Being intimate which I rather like the word intimate just btw I just hate the other word make love I understand what it means and the meaning behind it and is cute but the wording makes me wanna puke idk y it just does. Does anyone else feel that way or am I gonna grow out of this feeling?
also there are not just the words make love and f*ck there are other acceptable words for it and make love is just another saying for sex not f*ck but it’s sex with meaning where as F*cking is not. get what I mean? which I don’t f*ck just btw.

Be that as it may people use that to keep younger kids from picking up language like that. All Adults and Most teens should know what that means its just people are keeping it clean.
I guess you haven’t made love yetAnswer by David H
No. It is merely a euphemism for the four-lettered Saxon word beginning with f, that a lot of people nowadays profess to find far more offensive than the exprression “make love”. I gather you would prefer the Saxon word.
