CE: Does Amazon ship to apartment complexes and does it cost extra?
I live in a apartment and I don’t know if online stores ship to apartments.
We have mailboxes but they’re small and stacked together in one place.

Yes they do. I have ordered many things online and have had no problem.

If the item doesn’t fit in your mailbox. it wil either be left at the landlord’s office, or you will be given a notice to pick it up at the post office or UPS.

I live in an apartment complex and get stuff from Amazon all the time; and No, it does not cost anything extra. So the short answer would be Yes and No.

Amazon usually ships UPS. UPS will typically leave packages at the apartment management office, if the complex has on-site management. Sometimes UPS will leave a package outside the apartment door, if the area appears to be “low crime.” I once rented a 3rd floor apartment with a balcony, and the UPS deliveryman would occasionally throw the packages onto the balcony.

In short, yes Amazon will ship to an apartment.

Everyone else is right. Just wanted to say of course it doesn’t cost extra, think of all the business they would lose by charging people extra just because they live in apartments. That would be bad, stupid business, and Amazon is pretty good about good customer service.
