Jasmine: How and what type of doctor can I ask to prescribe me hormones or?
I’m not transgendered or transexual etc. I’m a 20 year old female, and have barely any breasts as to where it is pointless to wear a bra. ๐ I don’t feel like a woman or sexy for any matter.
I recently saw something on TV where a male wanted to have breasts and he took hormones and he got B-cups over time.
Is there any way I can ask a doctor to prescribe me hormones, estrogen, etc. How can I ask them to without feeling guilty or embarassed?
No answers like “be happy for who you are” or “get implants” I want serious answers please help!

Start with your regular physician, and ask them about what recommendations they can make about hormone treatment.
if a male takes hormones he will get breast if a female takes hormones she will grow a penis
sorry if this disappointed you but i hope it helped
Answer by DianeHere’s a serious answer.
Taking hormones will not affect the size of your breasts significantly. The reason hormones work for trans women is because their bodies are unable to produce them naturally; when a trans woman takes hormones, her breast tissue reacts exactly the same way as a non-trans teenage girl does at puberty.
Your body (presumably) has been producing oestrogen for several years; if your breasts are not responding to it, adding more will not make any difference.
It’s possible, of course, that your body isn’t producing oestrogen, perhaps due to some hormonal imbalance; or that you have mammary agenesis.
Talk to your GP/family doctor, and ask him or her for advice.
There’s no reason to feel embarrassed; doctors are supposed to help you with any medical problems you have, it’s their job.
You asked this the other day. As you can see Diane has given you the same advice I did.
