jracer524: Do you think that motels care if I bring a cat to their rooms?
I think I am going to travel over 1,000 miles westward in a U-HAUL truck in a couple of weeks. My cat is going to come with me along with his litter box. Normally I would reserve a room over the phone but I won’t know exactly where I will stop for the night.

Some motels don’t accept pets in their rooms, so don’t be sure. You must ask first ar reception

Most motels probably won’t care, some of the nicer ones or the ones that aren’t allowed by law don’t accept any pets.

When you walk in just ask them if they will accept a cat in the room with you.
