Yes, they will take cash. But I’m not sure about the age thing… it probably depends on the motel. Sounds sketchy to me. Be safe.
They would be legally liable for ANYTHING that happens in that room. Really bad idea.Answer by Athena13
It may work, but don’t count on it. The 21 year will have to give a credit card for any possible charges. If you get caught not only can the cops be called, but your friend can have some major charges put on his card.
In my opinion it is not worth it.Answer by Wylie Coyote
Most motels do accept cash. The legal age in your state is the required age for check-in. If you are partying in the room, tell the motel owner, if they find out later (and they will-not just might) and you had not they can charge a good deal more. In 32 states, if an adult furnishes liquor to a minor and they are involved in an auto accident, the adult can be held liable. The person who checked in should be available for the motel personnel while you are partying. The more responsibly you act, the better it will be for you. Parents expect some things on homecoming, and really like to be informed. Expect to leave a deposit, maybe as much as $ 200.Answer by sandra k
it could work… but your friend is liable for any and all damages that could occur. This also will include alcohol that is present. (You and your friends are all still under age and this could also ruin your life for a few years or you will think it is ruined if your not honest to your parents and they find out!)
Most hotels are aware of teens and homecoming activities so they are going to be watching for this type of activity. They also may not rent the room out to local young people for this very reason even if your friend is 21.
If you are not doing anything you and your friends shouldn’t be doing then why do you need a hotel room?? What about your home or the home of one of your friends? I am sure your parents or theirs are not really that bad!!!
