KaileenaV: Do law schools only start in the Fall or do they start in every season?
I was just wondering if law schools only start in the fall and summer semesters or if they also have a spring starting point? Please let me know. Thank you.

The short answer: it depends.
For the most part, schools only start in the fall semester. Unlike undergraduate education, law curriculum is more structured as far as what you take when.
Some schools offer summer start, or summer programs for marginal applicants for them to prove they can handle a law school curriculum. Then there are schools that offer fall, winter/spring and summer starts.
Good luck! :]
Answer by [email protected]It entirely depends on the school. For instance, Cooley Law School in Lansing, John Marshall in Chicago, and Washburn University in Kansas accept applicants for Fall and Spring Semesters, whereas the University of Michigan and Michigan State University accept applications for only the Fall Semester. And obviously there are others that fall into both categories. I would suggest reading the 2009 Official Guide to ABA-Approved Law School or one of the handful of other guides out there as they usually will state whether the school accepts applicants only during fall, or whether spring application is also available.
