In the state of michigan is it illegal for a 15 year old and a 20 year old to have a dating relationship that is non-sexual?And i wont get mad if you voice your opinions.
No im not the 20 year old, im the 15 year old.but i am not dating anyone yet lol. just wondering. bored and dont know what to do. im soo lonely.

I’m 15 and have dated an 19 year old and no one had ever mentioned anything about that to me. I think you’re alright.

if it’s non-sexual then it’s not “Illegal”
it’s also though not the Best of ideas… just mainly because the 15 year old is more prone to becoming more hurt… but i would say it’s Okay so to say…

It is illegal in many states… Then again, the saying is “Love has no age.” So the opinon that matters the most is the person in the relationship, we shouldn’t really have a say in it.

yep its illegal in any state its mostly a 18-19 year old can date a 16 year old and a 20 and 17 year old can date after that is all legal

The law states that actual penetration has to occur. Sorry for being so blunt but you needed to know. As long as you don’t have sex until you are 17 then just a relationship does not matter as long as you and your parents are ok with it.
