you will if you eat healthy and good for you!
Not unless you eat healthy, missy! Dont eat any more than 3 meals a day. A bowl of Special K for breakfast, a sandwhich [wheat bread, lettuce, tomatoes, ham, cheese, microwaved] and for dinner some chicken and rice. If you want a snack, a fruit or some vegetables and for dessert, a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or a health shake/smoothie. Use a blender, blend some fruit, a couple dashes of sugar, and you’re good to go 🙂Answer by DG
I you are dancing that much you need a diet that will give you good energy. That means NO JUNK FOOD. If you eat junk food you will be tired and will not be able to remember the steps or have the energy to do twirls or jumps. Meat and vegetables (like broccoli and green beans, not potatoes or corn) would give you the best chance of doing well with your dancing. Sweets and starches give you quick energy boost, but make you very tired after they are digested. If you eat these healthy foods and exercise that much you will lose weight. Good luck with your dancing.Answer by Stranger 2 You
You will loose weight, because you burn a lot of calories while your dancing. Just make sure you don’t overeat, or else you’ll just consume all those burned-off calories after your had burned them off.Answer by yo

yes, you will lose weight if you eat right. Unlike some other suggestions, however, you should not just eat three meals a day. I’m not saying to eat several full meals, but there is a right way to eat as a dancer. This may be a long answer, but I’ll give you an example.
A few years ago I was taking four classes a week, had company practice, was performing, and teaching, and extra time I spent working at home on choreography for my teaching gig.
I lost some weight and really toned up during that time, mainly because I stuck to eating healthy and getting enough rest. Getting rested between using so much energy is key because otherwise, your body will become stressed, and either get sick or injured.
As for food: Never skip breakfast. It starts your metabolism running early in the morning and gives you a jump start to get going. I used to eat for breakfast either oatmeal, or eggs, which stick with you through the morning and don’t leave you hungry after half an hour. I also ate a lot of fruit, which gives you a natural sugar high (and vitamins!)
I carried snacks like granola, yogurt or almonds in my dance bag to eat as a morning snack. Foods like these help keep your energy up and are easy to grab in a break.
For lunch and dinner, I ate whole grains, even wheat pasta, which is much better for you than white, lots of veggies, lean chicken is good and even red meat is actually good for you, in small amounts. I ate salad and a sandwich most days for lunch. In the afternoon, I ate a snack of something like celery with peanut butter, apples, or fresh veggies.
In all, I ate breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner. I didn’t eat past seven at night unless I had a late rehearsal, and then kept it very light.
The right portion size is what really matters. Eat small portions, take your time eating, and stop eating when you are full. Over time you will notice that you notice that your body starts feeling full sooner when you go slower and pay attention, not gulp food down fast.
Eating small meals throughout the day like this keeps your energy up, prevents you from feeling overfull and sluggish after a meal, and stokes your metabolism to run higher. I lost weight by eating like this, and I still occasionally splurged on junk food, but found that I actually started to crave healthier food as my body became healthier.
I hope this helped. Good luck with your dance team!Answer by ballerina705
good for you 5 hours a day is a lot and you might lose weight slowly but if you just eat healthy like apples and bananas and lots of fruits and veggies and some nuts walnuts are the best for me I’m a vegan and soy has lots of protein [ meat is so gross ] but good luck at dance hope this helps P.S wish we luck too my dance camp starts august 11 =^..^=
