Sim Sima: How would a college student get out of Egypt? Possibly to go to college in the US, or just to travel out?
Is there any way for college students to travel out of Egypt if they only have the Egyptian citizenship?
Maybe to go to school in the US or just to visit different countries, or if they find a job out of Egypt and don’t need to continue college??
Would that even be possible because of the Egyptian military obligations?

If you want to go to college in the U.S., you must have a large savings, apply to a college in the U.S. and get accepted, then apply for a student visa. If you just want to visit the U.S., you need to apply for a B-2 tourist . It is nearly impossible to get a work visa in the U.S. unless you are highly educated and skilled…and even then it is nearly impossible. See site below to read visa requirements and how to apply.
I’m an Egyptan med student. I travel outta the country almost 5 times a year.
If you wanna travel on vacation, just get a document of certification from your college and go to an area called “kobry eltagneed” or “kobry elsuez” to get a travel permit. (you gotta have a visa of the country you’re travelling to forst of course)
If you wanna study abroad, apply to a college online, and when you get accepted, get a visa from the embassy of that college’s country and go get the permit.
