Liz: Is it possible to claim yourself as a victim to a scammer who is already jailed?
My uncle bought an airline ticket through a travel agency. Later he wanted to ask some questions and couldn’t get a hold of them. He then found out they were jailed because they would refund the tickets and take the money. We just called the airlines and was verified that the ticket has been canceled a few weeks ago.

Is it possible to report to the police and claim as a victim in hopes on receiving our money back so we can rebook his flight? It is an international flight so it’s not that cheap.
