Twinkle Toes -x: How do i change friendship groups without being so obvious?
I am absolutely sick of my friendship group, it’s gone through the drain. There are gossiping behind peoples backs and bad things said. My best friends says a load of crap behind another friends back and then talks about how much she hates her and then she tells me she is friends with her again, then it goes on and off. I am sick of this, i feel left out lots and i end up feeling sad most of the time. I feel like i am stuck in this group, because the rest of the girls in my class are stuck up too. How can i move friendship groups without it being obvious?

Umm find a new group and start hanging out with them. Ween yourself off your current friends. Idk though really just an idea
i think you just have to go ahead and do it. be as nice and lowkey as possible & play politics best u can b/c doesn’t serve you to get people mad at you but how could it not be obvious? if your so sick of them why does it matter so much anyway if they gossip about you which they already do anyway?
courage

if the ones you hang out with now ask you to chill, just say you have other plans.
real friends should have your back, not talk about you behind it..
so i would find some new friends that you can get along with better.
good luck
Answer by ~angTell them you don’t want to hear their drama, because your friends with all of them. If they don’t stop, walk away. Meet and hang out with new people. That would be too much drama for me. I was never in a “Group” I was friends with ALL types of people. It really depends on their personality.Answer by Marc M
Taper off from this group gradually. Talk to more people, and do more things for yourself. It also helps to be honest with your current friendship group– give them a chance to change for the better, and if they won’t (or aren’t willing to), then you have a decent reason to dump them as friends.
Don’t worry too much about these girls, as you will be done with school one day, and there are plenty of other people who will be your friends. Just be positive, and try to wrap things up on a cordial note if possible.
