I live in va. if I buy a car from meryland, how mucth will it cost to change the plate to virginia?

You have to check with your local DMV office for exact price. When you buy a car from out of state, you do not pay licensing fees and taxes until you get back to your home state and register the car where you live. You should not ever be getting out of state plates, just to replace them when you get home. Hope that helps.
