daHo;g: Would buying a stereo along with speakers for a car make a difference?
Im planning on buying speakers for my jeep grand cherokee and ive been told that i need to buy a stereo along with it to get the best results. I wanna keep this as cheap as possible.

a upgrade is always good…BUT its not needed,,,new speakers will make a big difference with the stock radio/unit….remember if you want to change radio/head unit later you can…try speakers and see first..

It is not nessicary, but advisable. The new speakers will still make a difference, but a new head unit will really make them shine. You can get a pretty cheap one on craigslist or ebay.

New speakers alone will aound better.
you don’t need to get a new stereo, but every upgrade you make to your system, will produce improvements.

to get any better results than stock is not that hard. but as for a new stereo, you dont really need one but any upgrade WOULD make the difference…but if you just wanna hear your music a lil bit more clearer than how they sound now just stick to buying new speakers for her…i have 93 grand cherokee and im proud to say i love my system…please check me you
