-amc-: When your breasts leak before delivery is it normal for one to produce more colostrum than the other?
My breasts have been leaking since January 1st. I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant and it seems like my right breast is constantly leaking but my left never really does. Is that normal?

Yes.
My left one leaks more than my right one.
Answer by NinaYes. My left always leaks more and when I breastfeed, my left breast is a little bigger than the right and produces more milk.
lol @ our answers…we’re all lefty’s! lol
ETA- Nipple stimulation in late pregnancy is not recommended because it can cause contractions in turn causing premature labor or cause painful, uneventful contractions. It should only be done under the direct supervision or orders of your OB.
Answer by LaurenYes, my left one leaks while my right one doesnt..Answer by abcd&k
Yes, that is completely normal. If it makes you feel any better you can always stimulate the other in order to produce more, but it really doesn’t matter as when your baby arrives he/she will get the plumbing working just fine 🙂
Good luck
Answer by Lexi’s MommyYes it is very normal. My right one leaked way more then my left one did. It all depends on your body!Answer by Leslie
Yes, I had the exact same thing at the end my pregnancy. One breast leaked colostrum, but nothing ever came out of the other. I was concerned that I would only produce milk in one breast, and my doctor assured that one the baby was born, and fed, and milk came in, that everything would be fine, and it was! I breastfed my son for six months with no problems. Good luck!
