: Which bible character became disgusted with the ways of men and went out to live in solitude?
I remember a bible story about a man who reached a point in his life where he could no longer bear to remain living in society among other people. If I remember correctly he did leave everyone he knew and lived completely in solitude for a time. Several years I think. But I can’t find it anywhere!

I don’t know but he sounds like a self indulged and self righteous person who has not any charitable inclination of any sorts. in short he sounds like a dick, i wouldn’t look up to him anyway.
unless that’s the point of the story.
