The word Testament and Covenant same thing it means agreement, in the old testament it points to The cross of Christ while the New points back to it. It is true that most of Revelation is taken from other parts of the bible and a lot is from the old testament. Jesus and the others Paul also quotes a lot from The Old testament, in fact to tempt Jesus the devil of course took the bible verse out of context but in Matthew 4 the devil even quoted from the old testament. The Old testament and the Sanctuary services in Lev. pointed towards The Cross of Christ. The feast did also, when Jesus gave what No one could take on Calvary that temple veil was torn from top to bottom because type had met anti-type It is also true the Old testament is the new testament concealed while the new testament is the old testament revealed.
