How can I authorize my computer on iTunes so I can transfer my music to a different computer?

Rachel: How can I authorize my computer on iTunes so I can transfer my music to a different computer?
I want to transfer the music on my iPod to another computer, but when I click “transfer music” it says I need to go on to the store and click authorize computer from the menu. When I go on to the store and menu I can’t find anything that says “authorize computer.” I am logged into my account already too.

are you clicking on the store tab at the very top of your itunes?

if you click on store at the top (where file, edit controls and all that is) the menu will drop down and you should see Authorize Computer there…
