Are majoring in Resort Management or Hotel and Motel Management the same thing?

If they are not the same thing, can you tell me the difference? I want to major in some kind of hotel like management. I don’t know what the difference is. It’s Resort Management / Hotel and Motel Management. Please and Thank you.

It sounds like they’re pretty much the same thing to me.
Incidentally, one of the best schools for hotel/motel management is probably UNLV (Univ. Nevada Las Vegas). Where better to learn about managing a hotel than Vegas?
