I’m just browsing on the ‘net for apt. I may like to live in (near future). What the heck is a studio? What makes it different from a 1-brm. apt?

A studio is a huge open space with no doors to a bedroom area. Most of them have a bedroom area but it will kinda be part of the rest of the apt. It is like a 1 bedroom with no walls inside to make a bedroom out of. Most people that live in studios use room dividers to divide seperate living spaces. Normally a studio would be cheaper than a 1 bedroom, also some studio apts you have to share a kitchen but most have their own bathrooms.

Its a huge room with a tiny kitchen and bath.

studio aprtments are ones where there is no seperate bedroom / sitting room / kitchen it is all one large open area.
