It depends on what you mean by similar…I suppose you mean it in theme. Well if yes, then I would say Uncle Tom’s Cabin by Harriet Beecher-Stowe, Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell and Zora Neale Hurston’s Their Eyes Were Watching God. The first two deal with slavery and the latter with black people trying to survive.
