Parts of the human body and how it works?
I’m in Anatomy II. Anatomy I goes over the bone structure, what the names of the bones are called, muscles and their names, and how those muscles and bones work,. In Anatomy I you should also be going over the digestive system, respiratory system, and parts of the brain.
Every Anatomy class is different, but thats the basics of an Anat. I class.
Answer by aviophageI assume you mean medical anatomy or something related. Not all classes involve dissecting a dead person nowadays, as there are really good computer graphics and interactive video available for a lot less cost and mess.
You will make an organized study of all the systems and parts of the human body; most courses take a systems approach these days, starting with the musculoskeletal system and the other systems that have appendicular components (that is, the circulatory and nervous systems. Then you will get into the thorax and the head.
You will be expected to demonstrate competency in terms of systems: location of components, functions of systems, organs, and tissues (for example, what is the carotid sinus; where is it located; what is its function; to what systems is it connected and by what means?).
Have fun!
