I have never traveled by plane and i plan to travel to New York from Phoenix, Arizona in June. I will be traveling alone so i am not aware of the fees for airline travel. Could someone please let me know what these fees are and about how much they are? Also, i believe we need a passport to travel right? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

The extras will be lumped together under “taxes”. You will see the full price before you have to confirm or pay. The amount varies. Some websites show the price including taxes from the beginning. You do not need a passport as you are not traveling internationally but you will need government issued ID. A passport is acceptable but not required.
