Sorry to say this, but I have to agree with Mark X.
Prevention is not better than cure.
Every plane is different and has different seats so its very hard to say, if you really think you will find it uncomfortable, buy two seats…
Answer by ChelseaThe most comfortable seats will be found in first/business class in any airline.
As far as coach seats go, Delta has pretty comfy, leather seats. They’ll also provide a seatbelt extender, if you need it.
Southwest is probably the worst for you to use, because they may require you to purchase two seats, and their seats aren’t very comfortable (not leather, armrests don’t move, etc).
Answer by averagebearI don’t know of an airline that has economy seats bigger than other airlines. If there is such an airline, I’d be flying with them just for the extra space. Overweight or not, we’re all looking for that extra comfort. If you’re not buying first class, the only way is to have elite status and hope for an upgrade.Answer by brettdresseur
No airline is the best to use if you are overweight, but there are best classes of travel. If you have a lot of freq flier miles (or the cash) book business or first class. Economy seats are practically the same across the board, give or take some exceptional airlines, but even those aren’t going to give you the room you are looking for. Go for the cheapest business class, especially if it is a long flight.Answer by Rondi
JetBlue has the largest seats in coach. To be certain of your comfort and those next to you…..fly 1st class.
