ella_spas: How do I know the advertisement for puppies for adoption is not a scam?
I am from the Philippines and I sent an inquiry through e-mail regarding an ad which said she has maltese puppies up for adoption. Apparently, she’s from New Jersey. She said in her e-mail, “You will only be paying the shipping of these puppies and their adoption fees which will cost you $ 150 for one and $ 280 for both of them.” When do I pay and how can I be sure that this is not a scam?

The only way to be sure it is not a scam is to meet with the breeder in person and see the dogs for yourself. If you can’t meet with them then don’t send any money. There are plenty of breeders out there so it’s not worth it for you to potentially lose nearly $ 300. The only way to make sure you are buying healthy, happy puppies who are as the breeder describes them is to see them in person.
It’s most likely a scam. Anyone willing to ship puppies is not doing it for the best interest of the puppies, if there are any puppies at all.

Your best bet is to go to your local animal shelter or the Humane Society and adopting a dog that best fits your needs and lifestyle. A pet is not something to buy online.
Answer by CF_100% I am sure this is a SCAM
first of all this is NOT an adoption.. only animal shelters do adoptions and they NEVER adopt to people they do not meet and check out..
in fact no good breeder would EVER sell pups to people they have not met and checked out..
I can pretty much guarantee that this is a SCAM
here is a link that talks about pet related animal scams like this you should read it so you are not fooled
Buy a pet from a place that you can physicaly visit and talk to the people in person. Yes it may mean getting a pet a little later than you want, but there is no reason to support people who run a scam and send you a pet from a horrible breeding lot that delivers a diseased substandard pet from a horriable home. Lets support the real animal lovers and not the pet mills that abuse them! After all you do not need to send of for a pet that is 2000+ miles away when loving breeders are yet to be discovered in your own country.Answer by BBQ’d Pomchi.. YUM YUM!
scam.. it costs far more than that to ship a puppy!
If you cannot go and physically pick up the puppy yourself.. then do not bother.. its likely a scam if the puppy has to be “shipped” to you.
Answer by Ghana Bananaanyone offering to ship puppies overseas is always a scam. Someone in New jersey would have no problem finding a local home for their Maltese puppies, they wouldn’t send them half way around the world.Answer by Claritzuhh
youu get a net, go to the bathroom toilet, fish out a nice big turd, put it in the blender with 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of bleach, and 1/2 cup of sourcream. you blend it all up and drink, and it sends the answer to your head . then you will know if the plae is legit.
