ok- you have to treat the infection in the vagina, that’s gotta go- but…. be aware, when you start having the discharge from the medicine, my biggest concern of it will be the drainage getting onto the peircing and infecting it. the med itself? might dry you out a bit, and make the healing process (which is already very long to begin with on a good day) even LONGER. you are gonna have to be on the up and up on this one and keep it really clean. you must know the balance of “too much cleaning” vs. “not enough” when it comes to piercings. well, in this case, i would err on the side of too much cleaning. getting a yeast infection in a open wound is not a pretty thing.
