It’s probably the strings. If they’re old and rusty (if they’re steel strings of course), change them pronto. Any other reasons would be, all guitars are different. The body depths are different sizes, the wood that the guitar is made out of is different, the guitar players skill (it does affect the sound, believe it or not) is different, so there’s not much you can do.
Buy new strings:
Elexcers…they’re the best.
Answer by JosephI think is the material used for that guitar (it might be lower in quality)i see where you’re coming from because my first guitar was really cheap and it does not sound the same as my current acoustic guitar. And yes is a great guitar to start playing, don’t give up it takes a while to learn how to play good, and when you do I reccomend you upgrade to a better guitar.Answer by Emma D
Its probably the strings, if its fairly old they may be needing changed, and it depends if they are steel strung on nylon as well i have one of each and they sound different.
I can’t recommend a name but you basically want one that isn’t too expensive but can still produce a quality sound. You don’t want to buy a really expensive one if you decide in a few months time you don’t want to play anymore.
Answer by DeidreI’m thinkin’ that it’s just because the guitar is so cheap. I’m sorry to say that you actually have to put a little money into buying a guitar if you want it to sound good. A good idea would be to go to a music store and test out used guitars, and then see which one you like best. It’s also pretty fun…. I went to guitar center like every day last summerAnswer by peacefrogs97
You actually mite need new strings. If you cant figure out whats wrong go into guitar center and see if you can ask an employee there. You cant tell me there isnt a bunch of young teens workin there that know EVERYTHING about playing guitar. Answer mine???? PLEASE??
Go to the search bar at the top of answers website and type in ” Calling ALL guitar experts/players!!! I have a question…? ” and its by peacefrogs97 k? K. thanks so muchAnswer by dr
It is not exactly a quality guitar, sorry. If you compare it to more expensive guitars, you will find that it does not sound as good. New strings will make a difference, most times, but it will still not make it sound like a guitar that is build better, and out of higher quality components. I generally would not recommend beginners to buy the cheapest guitars. They are often harder to play, and sound worse than mid-priced guitars, and when you are first starting out, that alone can kill your joy of guitar playing.Answer by ajruka2
I’m guessing you bought this guitar online because it looked cool.
When you buy a guitar its always best to play it and make sure you really like how it feels and sounds.
Im not sure what you are comparing the sound to, but some factors that affect the tone of an acoustic guitar are the strings and how it is set up.
You should replace the strings unless ofcourse they are new. The neck on your guitar might be warped from shipping and your truss rod will need to be adjusted. You should find a local music store and ask some one there if they can help you with your truss rod.
Other than that, there isnt much else i can help with unless i hear it.
Hope this helps.
