I guess because of the economy. I say they lower the prices so more people come.

60 is dirty-cheap in my area… One hotel around here is a simple one, with nothing spectacular at all but it averages about 160.00 per night.:(

I think its counter-intuitive. The more they try to make up for a lack of sales by gouging everyone else the more people will stop travelling or curtail their trips.
