Gog: Why do so many people interpret the Bible in different ways?
So many people read the Bible and say let me tell you what this means?,but so many different people say different things and take on different beliefs from the same text.
I am starting to see that the Bible is man made.History has been filled with men who have changed and lied about much.
Is it possible that everything we are told is in fact made up and created for our control and to increase their numbers?

How to guard against people who change the teaching of bible?
Or to tell who are the REAL followers of god? check this:
Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves.
By their fruits you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
Just so, every good tree bears good fruit, and a rotten tree bears bad fruit.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a rotten tree bear good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
So by their fruits you will know them.”

EVEN THE BIBLE itself predicted that in the last days, many men will lie and change the real teaching of the bible.
Don’t be lazy, if u want the truth Check these out:
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

man made? you need to visit jerusalem and see all the buildings describe in the bible. example the holy temple.
Those buildings are checked by scientists and are real proof of bible histories.
Answer by JackyI don’t think that it has been made by men who want to lie. The are different “books” in the Bible. These books have been written about around the same time at different locations. Unless they were pure geniuses they couldn’t have communicated. So i think what is in the bible is true.Answer by zaatheist
It is interpreted to suit the the particular religious business interest. To create a market niche for a new sect you are creating you claim to have a different interpretation of the Bible. If they all had the same interpretation there would just be the $ atholic Church and none of the thousands of other competing $ hristian sects vying for market share.
It is all and only about money in the end.
Answer by Stardove~la~rose’Nah its not man made , the people who interpret it wrong are those who just don’t understand it or refuse to understand. That’s factsAnswer by Jess
well first off humans have a hard time in accepting being alone, we make up things like big food and god to make us feel better. in reality its just a very good story that people look to much into, that’s what all religions are. it’s like any other story, it has it’s meanings and you can interpret it to mean what you want, but when it all comes down to it, it’s just a story! it’s crazy to think that some thing is up there watching us all the time and controlling everything that goes on. i also highly doubt that we are the only planet with some kind of life on it, not that i believe in aliens, but it’s foolish and selfish to think that we got everything to ourselves. will we ever meet them, ya not likely, but it’s more reasonable than thinking that we are the center of it all, and that some being of some kind made it all…Answer by Adam F
Becuse so many people don’t have a full uderstanding of it before they start teaching it to others. It kinda warps things a bit, especially when pride steps in. I am confident that the words are accurate, but the interpretations can get out of hand.Answer by David
people interpret it different cause they think they know everthing

Isaiah 45:19 I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I the LORD speak the truth; I declare what is right.

God’s work? Hardly!!
It must be the Devil and the Antichrist working together to divide, conquer and destroy christianity from the inside!!!
I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires. – Susan B. Anthony

1) Why do so many people interpret the Bible in different ways?
For the very same reasons that so many people interpret Moby Dick in different ways. Written language of necessity demands reader interpretation, and the fact that the bible is also an anthology of ancient foreign language works – unlike Moby Dick – make it even more ambiguous than it might be if originally written in English.
2) I am starting to see that the Bible is man made.History has been filled with men who have changed and lied about much.
I can understand that you might choose to believe such a thing – but, do you have any **evidence** supporting such a thing?
3) Is it possible that everything we are told is in fact made up and created for our control and to increase their numbers?
Of course that’s possible. The same is possible of Caesar’s commentary on the Gallic Wars or your favorite U.S. History textbook. Just because such a thing is possible does not mean that there is any reason to believe that it is true.
