: Why do Conservatives want insurance workers making life or death decisions?
How would Government run health care be any worse if a Government worker were to make a decision or the insurance person who is only concerned about making a profit.
No one seriously believes that insurance executives, who tell their workers to NOT cover as many conditions as possible have the best interest of the patient in their mind.
We already have death panels, being “denied” for a heart transplant by an insurance person who knows nothing about you, nor cares. The Government would not do this. But no one said Republicans can think for themselves. Look at their candidates. Enough said.

Why not? How is that axiomatically true? They can, and they would do it for the same reason: to save on costs.

Answer by Becca the Tea LadyWhy do the Liberals want some government panel deciding life or death decisions?
They do not run Medicare nor medicaid without a whole lot of waste and fraud. Most of our money would go to a huge bureaucracy of people who we can not even talk to.
Yea, I want to see the government give someone a heart transplant in a timely fashion before you die!
