Why did moneybookers.com took £25 off my debit card?

mark2john: Why did moneybookers.com took £25 off my debit card?
I signed up with moneybookers.com and entered all my correct informations including my debit card and later on decided to quit instead so I took off my debit card from the site then just this morning, I found out that they have taken £25 off my debit card. I have not made any transaction so wtf?

I have never heard of this company so I have just googled it. It appears that many people think it is a scam, or at the very least a dodgy company. Why on earth didn’t you do a bit of research before signing up? It took me 20 seconds to be convinced that there are not a good company to deal with.
Contact the company and demand your money back and speak to your bank about the debit.
