Why are female celebs held to a different standard than male celebs?

Everyone hates on female celebs like Paris Hilton, Britney, or Miley because they had sex and everyone calls them sluts…

But then a male celeb does the same thing and has sex with multiple women, or even beat up their girlfriends, and they arnt criticized at all.

It just seems to be a huge double standard. If it is so wrong and sinful for a female celebrity to have sex….isnt it also wrong for a male celebrity to have sex?

Society promotes this double standard all over the place, not just with celebrities.

If a guy has sex with 5 women in one night, he tells his guy friends and they all high five and think it’s awesome.
If a woman has sex with 5 guys in one night, society will consider her a whore and lots of other derogatory names.

Believe it or not, it is other women that promote this double standard far more than men.
