the champ is here: Who can I contact to report a phone scam in progress?
I recieved a call from someone claiming that I won 2.5million dollars for a lotto that I didn’t know my name was in. Its obviously a scam. Of course I have to send them money before I can recieve my prize. Who can I contact to report this?

Answer by redenz40A lot of times by contacting your local sheriffs office they can proceed with who to notify. The sheriffs office usually puts the word out so that people out there who don’t understand that this is a scam will be alerted.
