texastailfeathers: Where is a site that compares many different parrot species for prospective pet owners?
I’d like to know if a site exists that compares different parrot species so prospective pet owners can decide which bird might be best for them. I breed tiny parrots, and one of my customers would like to know more about the larger birds but I don’t breed them and I can’t help her. Thanks!

Yeah, I was going to suggest pet-parrots.com too. I’ve had a few conversations with the guy that runs that site, and he’s got a lot to offer people there.
Also, you might think about just calling up a behavior specialist and asking them some questions about certain pet parrots you’re thinking about getting.
This way she could guide you away from more problomatic parrots and really give you a good feel for how they compare to eachother.
I run a bird training business, and even I still consult with people regularly on topics. I pretty cheap person is Kim Bear, at KimBear.com and she gives great advice. I think it’s only 25 an hour. And you wouldn’t need a full hour. either.
Good Luck,
